This is a community creative writing project, funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund,  from Liverpool charity North End Writers to respond to the centenary of World War 1.  In it we will be featuring images and writing from the people of Liverpool that best reflects the poignancy, history and personal connections that reverberate from a century ago.

This is a creative writing project for Liverpool people of all backgrounds who have something to say about the first world war.

You can find out more about the project -including information about submissions – on the Home page.

You can leave any queries about the project or initial responses in comments on this page or by emailing us at northendwriters@gmail.com or contacting our Project Lead, Pauline Rowe, on 07875 434 292
